So what in the hell am I talking about here --'stats attribute?!' Does it have something to do with playing the game?
Heroes usually have these, specifically strength, agility and intelligence. Whenever these primary attributes is being raised it may give a hero a bonus attack points.
Strength:
Increases hp and hit points regeneration

Getting to know your DOTA
DOTA which we players prefer calling it is actually a custom map based on Aeon of Strife (AOS) map on Starcraft through Blizzard Map Editor. It was intentionally for Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos having an expansion pack of Warcraft:III The Frozen Throne. Now DOTA is popularly known of its latest map version -- DOTA Allstars.
This is a game having two opposing sides. Players must select only one hero, not to mention its own skills, strength and weakness. The main goal here will be to destroy the main structure of the opposing team which is called Sentinel. Sentinel is the world tree or the scourge in other words the Frozen Throne. In acquiring such victory, player(s) must have his hero upgraded. This may be through defeating its enemies which may supply gold and experience points.
There are fundamental attributes each heroes such as strength, agility and intelligence (primary attribute).
There are three abilities which heroes can learn and also an ultimate special ability in all versions.
There are pretty neat variants DOTA has:
A. DotA Allstars
B. Gamebox DotA
C. DotA Outland
D. DotA Darkness Falls
E. DotA Classic
F. DotA Extreme
G. 6v6 DotA (This map was not official)
H. DotA Rumble
- A variant of DotA with only one lane (through the middle), with towers scattered throughout.
I. DotA: Danite's Hell
- A variant of DotA in which each hero is missing its normal magic abilities. Instead, abilities are randomly assigned from the pool of all possible abilities for heroes on the team (that is, the Scourge or Sentinel).
